Established on 24.07.2014 by İsmet KOPARAN (Civil Engineer/Msc), our company is rapidly growing and on the way to be the one of significant companies of the industry. Although being a startup company, Koparan Construction becomes prominent with the past experiences, ambition, sedulity and intellectual capital of its founder.
İsmet KOPARAN was born in İstanbul on 09.04.1980. After graduating from the Vatan Anatolian High School in 1998, he was eligible to attend Civil Engineering Department of Yıldız Technical University. Following the graduation from University, he started to work as a construction supervisor and concurrently commenced master’s degree in Yıldız Technical University. After one year of experience in building inspection, he worked as a project engineer at İF Engineering company. Within this period, while studying for his thesis on one hand, he worked on reinforced concrete and steel structure design, evaluation of seismic performances of existing structures, retrofitting on the other hand. In 2006, he received his master’s degree with the thesis named “Performance Analysis of Existing Reinforced Concrete Buildings” and then complete the short-term military service.
He started to work as a Project Engineer at Ataçelik Yapı Üretim Aş just after the military service and then get promoted to Project Manager position. Steel structure design, office-factory-site coordination, preparation of method of statements, erection scenarios, construction schedules, and progress payments were the responsibilities of the Project Manager. 212 Shopping Mall, Borusan Gemlik Pipe Production Plant, Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport new domestic terminal, Libya Ticon Convention Center, Libya Martuba-Tobruq-Labraq airport terminal buildings, Turkmenistan Mary Fertilizer Production Plant, Zorlu Alaşehir Geothermal Power Plant are the most important examples of national and international projects which he involved in.
Koparan Engineering, which has implemented many international and domestic projects since its establishment, has become one of the most sought after companies in the sector with its engineering support, proactive structure and reasonable price / benefit ratio. Zorlu Kızıldere-3 GPP Project, Balkh Center Afghanistan Project, Göztepe and Okmeydanı EAH projects, İGA İstanbul New Airport, Kabul Markaz Multi-Purpose Complex Project / Afghanistan are the main projects in which our company is involved.
